A number of reasons come to mind – speed, more functional, space, less water usage, more creativity – here’s the proof in the pudding.
According to a survey by Faith in Nature in 2017, 4% prefer to take a long and luxurious bath with candles or scents and 4% find themselves daydreaming instead of washing. So, that means baths are there for relaxation instead of functionality – that’s that area dealt with.
According to Unilever, the average shower lasts 8 minutes – longer than previous studies suggested -and uses 62 litres of water on average, compared to 80 litres in a bath.
There are health benefits to both morning and evening washing. “A morning shower allows for time to meditate and regroup before starting a long or hectic day” Says Mona Gohara, MD, associate clinical professor of dermatology at the Yale School of Medicine.
And here is the real reason why showers are better than baths, not just because you can use one of our trays. According to an industry expert, 72% of people get creative ideas in the shower.
